yes, that is no good at all. i'm surprised it was working at all. solder it on,you might want to add some connectors. also,you can make your rear shocks more stiff. you will lose traction though

you can drop any tranny in as long as you can A: get the dogbones to go fit nicely in the drive cups B:find some dogbones that will fit (require modding to hubs, maybe try traxxas hubs and traxxas...

it is because the battery you have cannot supply enough amps to fully power the vxl.

get the detta, it has adjustable shocks and turnbuckles unlike the traxxas vehicles and as far as i know, the 4wd slash is top heavy.

i'm not sure if the detta sc is topheavy but i doubt it more...

go out and get a can of plastic dip. aerosal or liquid form doesn't matter. also get some silicone sealant, make sure it is very thick stuff.
