motor mount height

I have a tunnel hull. Is there a rule of thumb on approximate motor height mounting. I do not have the plans for the model. It is a dumas hotshot 45 with a k&b 7.5

electric motor for tunnel hull

I have a dumas hotshot.45 that has never had a motor on it. It is a tunnel hull. The boat calls for a .45 outboard motor. The outboard motors are hard to find and all are used. I was referred to OEC....

Building a dumas 45 hotshot. I used sanding resin and fiberglass cloth. After I sanded and thought it was smooth, primed and it looked terrible .

My fiberglass/resin job not smooth. Do I just add resin and sand or I read you can use car bondo. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.
