RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Mini servos for both. But the pictures I posted are with a full-size servo, despite what the other kid says

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Never owned? More like never will own again. Had one in my HPI Nitro MT when I went cheap. Dear little thing was useless. Hell the stock motor was better

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Good luck selling that motor. You'd be lucky to get 20 dollars for it. I may sound mean, but it's the truth. You're gonna get sick of that power-less mill, want a new one, and dump more money into...

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

rc10gt with a big-block in it? Sorry to tell you kid, but a good .12 is overpowered in a 2wd car. You won't even get the thing to be going straight for more than 20 feet before it just spins out with...

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Add another 120 dollars for a new engine to that 450. Do you want to spend 570 bux for a used CRT .5?

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Hyper .12 is a trashy little engine. It's worse than rtr engine.
Now if it's the Jammin .12, that's a different story. Has a red cooling head.
But if it's really a Hyper .12 engine, for 450 bux,...

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Just get the one with the engine already included. It's a decent engine.

P.S.: Man. for rc engines just make up a number basically.

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

That O.S. .18TZ makes maybe 1 hp. you think you be getting even half of that HP rating, you be lucky. And numbers it's slower too, because it's a .18. Press OK

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Ohh, you'd be glad to get .8 HP out of that sucker. I'd think .6-.7hp.

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Nope, it uses mini servos, though with some work you can get standard servos to work

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

There's no way it'll give 1/8 buggy a run for its money. The only class that might ever achieve that is truggy, and that's only in the states, because trucks are naturally more popular here.

RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy

Not really. A truggy is based off a 1/8 buggy. It's like calling a Mini Inferno a real 4wd buggy. It's just a mini-version of the "real" thing. Just like the CRT .5, which is based off the CRT.
