the 12x6 worked alot better could really tell the difference on take of and speed in the air was twice as fast ,nearly,

Hi , was wondering if aybody new of our(aussie's) first war bird , or did the RAAF only come onthe seen with jets.

it does need to be secure and cannot move or vibrate as this creates air bubbles in the tank and fuel line and she'll stall. i would epoxy some balsa to hold it in place and pack around it with foam...

Well i finally did it and what a rush it was, just as you said it decided to pull to the left but i managed to keep it straight enough to get it in the air,but my speed was a bit low and she wobbled...

thanks mate and yes the wheels are on the leading edge, it's my first  first tail dragger so not sure on take off but will follow your advice
