RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

Thanks for the update Mike.

With the 10 channel getting close...does this mean that a Stylus module should be in the near future???

RE: *R.C. Ignition G26/EI*

Tine Z has one of those with a G26 in it but she is using the MACS header and a beer can on the outside of the fuse.

Do you have enough room for a muffler running inside the fuse or are...

[email protected]

Sorry. I accidentally entered it as a wed address instead of an email.

I can't remeber exactly what it cost. Plus, they vary based on how complex of a header you...

RE: *R.C. Ignition G26/EI*

Karl Mueller custom made the header. It actually matches the port unlike the MACS headers. What I have found is if you give it a big volume muffler you will get open header performance with out the...

RE: *R.C. Ignition G26/EI*

I had an "expert" tell me that if I didn't use the plate I would lose several hundred RPM's and junk the bearings. That doesn't appear to be the case. The case up against a nice solid firewall works...

RE: *R.C. Ignition G26/EI*

Well, when I made the can I was trying to get open header performance but not be as loud. I must have guessed right on my design because the setup you see in the pics was good for a 10100RPM on a...

RE: *R.C. Ignition G26/EI*

The alum. plate mount seen in this pic is one that I made. It is a little over 3oz lighter than the stock plate mount. Since these pics were taken, I have done away with the plate all together. I...

RE: zenoah g-26 rpms

The vertical is never going to be what I would call great at 14.5lbs on a G26. I would definitly follow arobatx's suggestion and ditch the APC prop. A good light wood prop would be be my preference.

RE: Ultra-RC Katana gas motor question

My Katana

Here is my Ultra R/C Katana with a highly modified G-26 based engine. A plain old G-26 converted to RCigniton EI (to save weight) and a tuned pipe will provide plenty of power for...

RE: Why Airtronics?

I started with an SR series back in the 80's and progressed to a VG, Infinity and Stylus. I even have a 7 channel single stick. And yes I still use all of them. I recently got a RD8000 just to have...

RE: G26 rpm

The Skorepa props are only available through Ed Skorepa at escomposites.com as far as I know. The "E" series prop is designated as an electric prop but don't be afraid of it. It is just a slightly...

RE: G26 rpm

Unless you just don't want to run a wood prop, I would suggest you give a 18x6E Skorepa or a 18x6 standard Skorepa a try. These are great props for the G-26. Oh, and dump that stock muffler. The...

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

not harsh at all, I was just thinking that with the engineers from Sanwa at Toledo, and the fact that the Stylus module question was sure to come up. It might lead to a little better idea of when the...
