RE: My Latest Q500 Design

We use Kevlar in our boat construction, and it is challenging to say the least. For long term use, Fiskar scissors reground to a 80ish degree angle with a 80 grit belt sander is the trick. For...

RE: Lets Try To Mold A Moldie!

Dave- I'm a little fuzzy on the method of joining the fuse halfs- you wet out both sides and a one inch tape, how do you apply tape? I can't grasp the join. Help? I know the fit is too tight for a...

RE: New Q40 design - Invictus

Dang Dave, I was thinking it was his secret mold release formula that was forgotten about and left on the table. Wonder how bad that wing is going to stick that I layed up using aforementioned...

The usairnet site listed above is the best I've found for RC aircraft. I've been using it for a couple of years to see if it's worth the drive to the field, and it is without a doubt the best thing...

RE: 1/7 scale P-51 with YS Dingo, has it been done?

Don't know if this is the fix, but we had issues at the local field going to the large glow engines. Had to use larger fuel line from the carb inlet all the way back to the clunk. Including the...

RE: Q-fuel line source

Yea, Murphy is alive and well. How about a short length of heat shrink tube (shrunk ya know) in the area where it would pass thru the fuse? Should toughen it up where you need it, leaving the rest...

RE: os 40 sr tuning

You might look into one of the adjustable clamps used on smoke systems. If you compress the pressure line, less goes thru. Same principle as an adjustable bleed, but no moving parts, light, and...
