So 15 years later, has anyone seen any of these available anymore? I have a big 6S outrunner that would be perfect for one.

Looks like the neg shift type RX works with the ICON radio? Or a shift detect type. Any good sources left for ICON type RX? Like keeping that ICON around for Elevon planes.

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

The price is really good on these today for the sale, you guys seem to really trust them especially to install a turbine on them. I had 2 Rich Models Kee Cats that I sent back one right after...

RE: China Flyboy Models

So how did the SR-71 go? I have had a few of the chinese ARFs and while I have found the quality of the products all over the map, the covering material has been worthless on all of them. I have...

RE: New Megatech Mach Racer delta wing

Are these open bay between the ribs or fully sheeted, I can't imagine you would want them too fast, especially with the covering many of the ARFs come with. I think the add says 120mph, are you...

RE: Great Planes F-15 ARF?

I have one of his previous imports, a T-bird looking F-4 Phantom. His ARFs are rather nice. He also had a nice Balsa USA looking Enforcer ARF, but they are for local pick-up only. Shipping and...

RE: Questions about Kyosho T-33A

What ever you choose, you need about 10 oz in the nose if it's built well and still undamaged(no repair weight throwing off the stock weight). That would be 8~9 KAN 1950 cells or a 2500~3000 3s pack...

RE: The Alienator

No, no problem at all with an AP .15. I think I did use a standard servo for the elevator so it wasn't so nose heavy.

RE: Propjet, mig 27 target drone

They work, but unless you have a temp controlled enviro, i would avoid using them in the winter. Even in the warm summer, these paints take quite a while to dry.

RE: Propjet, mig 27 target drone

By glassing them, they mean to cover the entire plane with 1 or 2 layers of fiberglass/epoxy. Makes for a really long lasting, strong but heavy model. You don't have to glass them, you can just fly...

RE: Propjet, mig 27 target drone

I guess it's really all in how you look at it. If a plane is a plane is a plane to you, then whats the difference? These planes fly really good and dress up well, or you can just fly them...

I remember this would happen very frequently at the R/C field we used in the Chicago. It seemed as though beginners were always refered to that field by hobby shops. It was always the same...

RE: Luke, I am your father, and this is my ride!

Alot different than the 2 version I did, but I like it. They are really stable despite the radical looks. One used an EDF all the way through, the other was a twin pusher, it was heavy and didn't...

RE: Great Planes FireBat?

Here is a build I did on the firebat, much better than stock. There is a video of it flying on pg 3. I can't tell you what it's like to fly a 15 oz plane with 18 oz of thrust compared to the 24oz....

RE: Questions about Kyosho T-33A

Since it is not assembled yet, I would urge you to use the Mega 16/15/2 with a 6 cell pack or the 16/15/3 with a 3s lipo. These motors help this thing fly so much better.

RE: Found a Glockner BAe HAWK in my closet!

Since the fan houses a 480, sounds like a good candidate for a Mega 16/5/2 or 16/15/3 brushless motor. The /2 only needs a 2S lipo, the /3 needs a 3s. Multiplex has recently released a 480 size...

Wow, I haven't seen this thread in a while, it's ben busy in here. Those are some great looking cover jobs, who cares what others say. Spend as much time as you want on them, they are looking great.

RE: What is the fastest prop plane???

I don't think it was a production plane, and I don't know if it's still current, I read about it around a year or more ago. An electric beat the fastest recorded prop speed by about 10 mph. It was...

RE: Cermark Javelin II/ST 90 w/ pitts style

My Javelin had problems handling the GMS .47, I definitely wouldn't risk a .90 in it. I had to run bolt on carbon rods along the side of the belly pan to keep the fuse from flexing. Eventually a...
