RE: Jett 90L or YS 110FZ ?

Any problem over-revving those 4C engines? I had a ys 140 on a kangaroo and it threw a prop thru a fin and broke off the mount at high speed.

6 inch pitch

6 inch pitch will not get you anywhere fast. Just curious, what pitch does a 35% plane run?

10X6 at 16,900 gives you 96 mph. Put her in a dive and break into triple digits. Does it unload much in the air?

numbers???????

I have that engine and hope i can get it to run like your. But i guess i still dont get how an 8 inch prop can get to 200 mph without turning 26,500 rpm. The jett 50 with a 9.75 pitch runs 18,500 on...

tomhawk

It does come with installed retracts, struts, and painted pilots. If its well built its worth it. I have the kit from many years ago. Still NIB if anyone wants it.

he made things sound worse than they are

I never said things were bad. I said they were different, as demonstraited by a very experienced pilot. You just need to slow things down a bit and practice a little. This flight lasted only one...

Sorry for your loss. These deltas fly differently than a plane with wings. Takes a while to get used to. A sport jett 50 wide open on an untrimmed, fully fueled nose heavy plane with throw issues is...

weight

So your launch weight is 3lb 13oz. Looks like it pulls right out of your hand from the picture. My nelson q40 turns that 7.2x8.6 prop at 23,500. My launch weight with Whiplash extreme should be 3 lbs...
