rumor around here is that the RTR version diff cases are a little bitty bit stronger, the diffs arent an issue if you perform regular maintenance

narrowing any truck will make it more responsive, but im guessing its not only for handling but also strength a longer arm will create more stress and less support shorter arms offer more support.

what I learned while running it was that while it is not a major design flaw but the rear ring and pinion gears will begin to grind if you do not replace the diff case.
Replacing those diff cases...

is this the the 1.0 or 2.0?
if its the 2.0 maybe just go ahead and check the diff and shock oils, usually out of the box you should be good to go for a few runs or races.
the box setup is pretty...

you can get by with the dynamite mach 2 .21 redhead and dynamite 053 pipe
I run a losi nitrotec with the same 053 pipe but am switching to the os21xz
the jammin motors haul the mail lol

Im running a nitro d8t but you can pick up a roller pretty cheap and use most of the hpi vorza parts to...

I had this same problem with my x2 when I first built it, see if you cant find some kyosho gaskets, they did the trick or even brand new jammin gaskets they solved the problem too.
idk what exactly...

the electriclutch actually makes the car come into turns like a nitro car, the car can roll free and not feel knotchy or feel like a slight drag brake

I ran mugen front arms on my jammin x2 truggy, no problem with c hubs or pivot balls, pbs gave it a little more off pwer steering. Ive never seen a mugen 8th scale without that setup.

honestly not much, besides lutz drove one to some good results, I think there is some sort of front arm conversion to make it stronger though

tilted engine mounts
id put the 985 for throttle and a associated ds1015 on steering very good for the price

good truck better then my old losi 2.0, and definately durable, I can still easily run with any other truggy but it does take more time finding a good setup.
