RE: Striped my cooling head :O!!

If the head is off, screw the glow plug in from the inside of the head and try to straighten the threads up some.

RE: picco engine in a ofna buggy ...help

The Picco .26 "Max" engine is intended for use on T-"Max" trucks which is a different engine mounting dimension altogether. The standard Picco .26 is probably what you've been seeing on the 1/8 scale...

RE: What Motor to get for GT2 for Track use?

The milder rotary carb Dynamite .12 SPD would probably more rewarding with it's more controllable linear powerband.

RE: question about purpose.

I had an ultra LX pro, converted it to an MBX. I raced it quite a bit for about 3 or 4 months, then started trying other buggies, and I still don't look back. Like said above, it can be raced, but...

RE: what to buy??

Go for it dude. The H7 is a great buggy. I've got a few of them, raced one since 2003. I've tried Kyosho and Mugen, some others, here and there, and the only buggy I was ever able to turn faster lap...

RE: Hyper 7 problems

I'm running the 14MM shocks. The lighter the buggy, the smaller the shocks you'll need, or that's what works for me. You can lighten it up some by using graphite servo tray, and front support. They...

RE: XTM Buggy?

The XT-2's are good buggies. Got an awesome engine, it will surprise you at how well it handles. Or I think so. My old X-terminator handled great I thought. But that's a personal preference.

RE: what to buy??

Dude, don't take it personal, I'm kind of having fun. But pressed aluminum? Never even heard of it. Maybe you mean stamped? CNC is not the type of "material," as you stated, it's the machining...

RE: what to buy??

And once again you make no sense. Two different buggies made by two different manufactures. I know they both say OFNA, but that's only here in the US. And as far as materials, most buggies are made...

RE: what to buy??

Dude, you have a serious problem with reading and comprehension or something, I don't know? I didn't mention your Caster buggy in my entire post, I was just proving that the Hyper7 is better than the...

RE: what to buy??

I'm in for the Hyper7 on this one. If you have an engine/pipe/electronics already, you can get a Hyper 8.5 from Nitrohouse for under 400 bucks I'm pretty sure, but this is a kit. If RTR is your only...

RE: Hyper 7 TQ B .21 GLOW PLUG

A McCoy MC8 works great. I use it with 20 or 30 percent with no problems.

RE: Hyper 7 problems

Small fuel leaks are actually normal. If it's leaking pretty bad at the exhaust port, then you may need a new gasket, or the pipe isn't seated against the block very well. You may want to look in...

RE: Another Hyper 7 Question-Racing?

I like to use the PCR "W" wing brace, 4-disc brake set up, and a good clutch. Other than that, mine is unchanged except for things like diff oil, shock oil/springs, just getting the car dialed in you...

RE: Help me can't decide between two cars!!

I know what you mean. I had the old Ultra LX Pro with the Force .26 engine. Everything about that thing was so crappy, even the way it handled, I could consistently turn faster lap times with my...

RE: watch a raze and hyper 7 race

Neither one of those buggies are even close to being fast. I've said time and time again, you can get more power and speed out of a good set-up than all the useless hop ups in the world. The Raze is...

RE: Asking for some experienced knowledge.

I'd get a set of Allen wrenches from Sears or your local parts store, metrics, a good temp gun, a big box for everything, especially if you own a pick up truck to slide the box in when you're ready...

RE: Help me can't decide between two cars!!

Glad to hear that. I've Ultras, X-terminators, and Hyper7's. The Hyper is so much better by far than the other two. Look at the drive shafts on the Ultra series, and you can see the sharp angle they...

RE: MOST POPULAR ST

It's all about marketing and hyping up your product that encourages people to buy it. This is why AE and Losi have always spent time and money winning races with their product. This puts it in the...

RE: Age and What You Rip With??

I've been 19 for many years now, see no reason to change a good thing you know. I run RC10gt, Hyper7, some other cars that just sit on my shelf, (I guess I don't rip with these anymore,) Futaba radio...

RE: Why so popular!!!!!1

Don't get into the MPH thing. Like said above, get an on-road car for all out speed, and all these little wanna-be Jatos and Rustlers will be eating your dust, 'er ummmm, gravel actually. But you are...

RE: which is better?

I'm gonna say the GT2. AE has been making award winning 2wd trucks for many years now. I've owned RC10's for a long time, and I couldn't imagine a better 2wd truck. Over the years I've only had very...

RE: Age and What You Rip With??

You obviously have no idea to what you're talking about. The rebel flag, (you need to learn how to spell rebel too,) was simply a flag that stood for the total thriteen states that wanted to no...

RE: Help with buggy..

I'd go with the EB4. The original X-terminators has some diff housing issues. Alot of people blamed the diff and gears itself, but it was actually housing flex allowing the gears to come un-meshed...
