It was charged at 2.0 alright, double checked. It was also passed through a balancer, I'm wondering if that's the problem, charged again without the balance and the job was done in 1 hour and 11...

Great, thanks for that. I have indeed contacted my Futaba dealer here in the UK and they are gong to sort it out under warranty. It does seem to be a fault with the unit and not anything I have done!
