Glad to "super chicken" is still flying.
I built that airplane in 1995. It was one of the last, if not the last Starfire II that JMPdelivered.

Can't remember the voltage, but the P-160 I have run in Denver had 60 PSI fuel pressure at 128k.
That is substantially higher than a P-120

The engine must be at 21C/70F when the calibration is done . There is no other way to calibrate the probe. You will hav e to find a way to lower the temp of the engine to appx 70F, then...

The motor can be stopped,but you must not power down the ecu until you retrieve the data. Turning off the power loses the last run data.

It's on for .2 sec and repeats in .4 sec until the link is restored or the timeout (default 3sec) that is programed is reached.

In the limits menu along with the failsafe set menu, is the SmokerWarningFunction which must also be enabled and you must select what you wnt it to warn you about.

If your failsafe was set for 3 seconds time out and you didn't have control for 4-5 seconds ,then the ECU would have shut off the engine.
