You can use the JR receivers with the HITEC or AIRTRONICS transmitters that let you chose to use negative or positive. This is accomplished by making a choice in the programming.

The jr 347 will work with the current 700 jr receiver. For pcm you will need a special z pcm receiver , they are nolonger available new.
If you have 4 channel futaba transmitters they will work...

I bought one used. Any way I can determine if it is high or low band. I know on the 127 you check for the red dot. Anything like this for the 148

On the FMA site they tell you that their RX will work with a DAD, Hitec, or their own crystals. They claim the Futaba crystal won't work!
IF everything was interchangeable they wouldn't have to...

Ben Buckle Kits--Last one I did was a JR 60 and while it was a Ben Buckle it was made by FLAIR.

Hircflyer is correct in saying that you will need a PCM RX and a PCM capable TX to do PCM. ALL currently produced JR modules say PCM on them and they support the use of FM or PCM
