Just bought these mechanical rotating retracts from Nitroplanes: http://www.nitroplanes.com/prmerore.html

This is my first retract installation and they are going to be installed into my CMP .50...

THanx for the answer bigtim:D!!! I'm in a rc club, its called ama, since this is my first rc plane would it be wiser to have the retractible landing gear or the fixed landing gear? I'm all worried...

my dad gave me this p-40 as my first model without giving me a trainer first.:(. So i want to know as much about this warbird's flying characteristics as possible.:D

I'm in Long Beach and I found a club that looks good in Costa Mesa....bout 15 miles away....only negative is they don't allow gas/nitro planes....plenty of electrics though and you can just come on...

Did a little research and looks like I and my son will join the AMA and then one of the Flying Clubs that is not too far away...

Just pulled the trigger and bought the CMP P-40E Warhawk ARF (53.5" in Wingspan) for my 13 yr old son for Christmas. My son is an avid "Top Gun" type of guy and is a virtual encylopedia of facts...
