RE: DF E22 or DF 1#B?

I have the 1#b, I would vote for that!

THe design is higher performance than the 22E, and is easier to fix... IMO

RE: Eflite Blade MCX or Walkera Lama2

I was thinking the same thing.

I have a couple of Walkera Collective Pitch Helis (60B and a H1#b), but they are too big to fly indoors.

My friend came over with a couple of Eflight Blade...

RE: Walkera 1#B Broken?

If your motor is spinning, then the pinion probably got bumped away from the main gear.

Otherwise you could have a loose wire, or the radio could be in a safety mode. Make sure you have the...

RE: Can I run 4.8V servos with a 6.0V battery?

I use a Castle Creations BEC. You can program it to step down the battery voltage to just about anything you want. I'm using a 3s battery (11.1v) and I can choose to run my system at 4.8v or 5v or...

RE: Really Bad Bounce On The Bench

That is actually ground resonance. Usually from a springy connection to the ground like the skids.

It usually won't resonate if you were to hold it down rigidly... however the skids aren't...

RE: Walkera 1#A... it hurts being number 1

The plastic head is softer and only a few parts usually break in a crash. The metal head is stiffer, which means more parts may get damaged.... and you will crash...

I actually was able to buy...

RE: Walkera 1#A... it hurts being number 1

IMO I would say the 1#a might be the best CP beginner heli (with all the features) out there.

If I were you I would buy from airborne RC in Australia.
I've bought replacement parts for my h1#b...

RE: Metal Head Replacement Now Flies Down?

yes, the aluminum head works backwards. You'll have to reverse the action of the servos at the radio.

RE: WALKERA 60

I use Aerofly deluxe pro, Heli-X, FMS, and HelisimRC.
I don't really like HelisimRC at all...
FMS is ok for learning orientation, but it isn't very realistic.
Heli-X is pretty good as a free...

RE: Walkera 1#B 2.4GHZ helicopter

I've crashed my 1#b many times, and it is easy to fix, and easy to get parts for now. AirborneRC, Ehirobo, and Xheli have parts.

It's pretty tough and a nice simple design, without all the...

RE: WARNING HELIS ARE NOT TOYS!

I noticed that he said he plugs it in inside because the dogs would be bumping into it if he was outside?

That implies that the dogs are running around the helicopter while it is flying, taking...

RE: Walkera 1#B 2.4GHZ helicopter

I have the 1#b 72MHz (not the 2.4GHz) and it's a pretty decent little heli. The 2.4GHz version looks even better.
It's only downside is the tail motor rather than a belt driven tail like the 1#a....

RE: Is There A Helicopter?

Take a look at the Walkera H1#b (CP but with a tail motor) 555mm rotor span $119.
or even better the Walkera H1#a (CP belt driven tail) $200-$244 with metal head

I have the H1#b, flies pretty...

RE: GY401: stupid question

RE: 3D Vs 4D

4D usually refers to foamie planes with reversible pitch propellers.

The blade holders on a "4D" plane are pretty much just like the head of a heli.

Usually the TX is programmed like a 3D...

RE: Walkera 1 #B

1A should be better!

better belt driven, variable pitch tail
more powerful motor
better battery

RE: Walkera 1 #B

The H1#B has a 4mm shaft, and the 60B has a 5mm shaft (lust like the Trex 450 SE V2)

RE: CC BEC causing interference or damaged?

I would never cut the wires, you can just remove the pin from the connector by sliding a knife under the plastic clip. THen slide the red wire out.

In my heli, I left the red wire on the ESC...

RE: CC BEC causing interference or damaged?

I've tried it both ways on mine. Works both ways with my ESC.

Some ESC's need that red wire. try putting the red wire back in the ESC connector with the BEC in the system, and see if it...
