RE: Sleepy's FT TC4 S^3 R

No RC for over a year but yet, you respond to the thread so quick! You must still have interest. Do you have any pictures of the modification you could post when you find time? It sounds easy enough...

RE: Sleepy's FT TC4 S^3 R

Great old thread. Sleepy can you detail the modifications you had to make for the TC3 rally kit to fit your TC4? I did a TC3 with a 200mm Rally kit and it handled like a different car. I traded it...

RE: Which minis would be best choice to buy and maintain for hosting charity events?

I'd rather race a 4wd mini, specifically the Vendetta buggies would be my choice but I'd also prefer an RC18 over a Mini-T.

RE: convert vendetta to vendetta st?

Has anyone converted a buggy to use the ST's pivot ball setup in the front suspension? It looks like it would be easy but I don't want to change any of the buggy's geometry. My steering blocks are so...

RE: Will my charger work for mini batteries too?

OK, I have IB 1200 mAh. They false peak @ 1.5 amps so I'll try 1 amp next time. It does good on trickle charge though.

RE: your drift tires!

Yeah I rounded them as much as I could. It's just very hard to find anywhere smooth around here. I don't like the way the suspension gets all of the shock with ABS, The foam takes alot of that out...

Will my charger work for mini batteries too?

I am getting into mini's for the winter and putting up the 1/10 scales untill the snow melts. Can I charge the little 2/3A batteries with the same charger I have been using for my sub-C packs?

RE: snow - im confused

I don't get to drive in any thing but snow here in the mountains. I've never had any brushless problems in the snow. I have a Novak XBR 8.5, and I've had the MM5700 both packed in snow after bashing....

How do you do custom decals?

I want to paint my TC3 a body that looks like the drift Charger. How can I get the graphics made?

RE: your drift tires!

I made some ABS ones but I don't really like them. They work OK but they look stupid, I think. They look way too low profile, and they suck over craks or bumps. I much prefer my foam tires wrapped in...

RE: What do you use to hold ESC and RX down?

I don't know, I tried velcro to save time switching components from one car to another. Every time I ran I would have a receiver or ESC dangling by wires in no time. I guess velco is ok if you are...

RE: What do you use to hold ESC and RX down?

3M double sided moulding adhesive. You can get it at any automotive paint supply store. I get mine for free at work being a painter. Noting sticks better, and it leaves nothing behind when you remove...

RE: fresh powder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You won't be so excited for the snow after 18 inches. That how much snow we have. My Maxx wouldn't even go in it. I traded the E-Maxx for a RC18 so I could come inside and play, I can't imagine a...

RE: Cell Phone Batteries in RC?

I figured that would be the problem. What do you think would happen, it would kill the batteries, or overheat them, or just not work?

RE: i have a rc18b...

I just traded my E-Maxx on RCU's classifieds for a RC18T. Yours looks even nicer then the one I traded for, I would have gladly traded you. I guess the grass is greener 'cause I am sick of 10th...

Cell Phone Batteries in RC?

I got a pair of 3.7V 900mAh Li-ion cell phone batteries. Is it possible to wire them in a series and use them in say, a RC18? I could charge them with the cell phone charger. I guess I would need a...

RE: ..::OFFICIAL E-MAXX BRUSHLESS SETUP THREAD::..

I have a stock maxx except RPM upper & lower A-arms, aluminum rear bulk and shock tower, and a Futuaba FM radio. I use 2 Novak XBR 8.5 systems. I chose this as an attempt to not have a 1 motor setup...

RE: Evader EXT Arrived (Pics)

Well the gear diff makes much more sense for a basher IMO, so thats good. I would think wheel bearings are a must have, at least in the back, when using brushless. Plastic shocks seem fine to me, its...

RE: Evader EXT Arrived (Pics)

Did you put in a metal idler? Does the EXT use ball diffs? For bashing, I hated the regular evader diff, it constanly needed maintenance.
