I asked on an electronics forum and found out that these two parts are actually rectifiers, thats why they read different. They are probably both fine. Also I don't appear to have a burnt up...

Savage throttle spring question

I finished the OFNA throttle mod on my savage. But I can't figure out what the addition of the spring is for. It works great without the spring, all the spring seems to do is add drag to the break....

prop saver rubber band alternative for foamies?

Rather than using a rubber band on the prop saver on a small 3D foamie (4-10 oz), I used to have some very short cut pieces of medical tubing that worked great but I ran out and can't get more....

Thanks again for all the advice given on here. It turned out accurate;) I've got 5 flights on this motor now and wow. Feels like 2X the power and my cyclic also sped up a lot. Sweet......

Thanks a lot everyone! Once my anti-rotation bracket replacement comes in on Tuesday (gotta hate the things you don't catch after a repair until you're ready to fly again) then I'll give it a try....

I bought a Scorpion 2221-8 motor a few days ago. My head is all metal except for the swashplate (Align - Aluminum & Composite), and the tail is the stock composite tail. Is a metal head and tail now...
