My Falcon 56 is my favorite float plane. I have a Sig SE on floats and an Ace seamaster. I prefer to fly the Falcon .56 over the other 2. I have small floats and a TT .42 engine on it and it is a...

RE: os61fx and gp ultimate?

I had this identical set up on mine. I started with a .46 then switched to the .61 and enjoyed the more power. That was until I snapped it into the ground. It did add weight to the plane. When you...

RE: my 3rd omp edge

I can't wait to hear how you lost #2. :-)

New plane looks good, but you better get another one started. :-)

You missed my low repetitive loops with the plane going through the tall weeds ...

Krazy Legs and OMP Edge 540

Definitely 2, that is what I did. After several hard bangs on the ground the bottom bolt has widened the hole in the fuse. I will probably put some type of sleeve in the hole for added strength.

Sig Something Extra on Floats

Flew mine this afternoon with the .61 on it. Much, much better. Glad I did it, almost 3 great flights. The reason I said almost, last flight, I dead sticked it in, and hit to hard, and snapped the...

Sig Something Extra on Floats

I just put GP .40 size floats on mine. The one day I flew, it was OK, but, not the power I wanted, with a .46. I have just mounted a .61 on it, but haven't flown it yet. Hopefully this engine will...

Cline Regulator

Engine for GP Ultimate? OS61FX too much??

I originally had an OS .46 on mine and changed it to an OS .61. It was definitely better. Wing loading went up, so when you chopped t he throttle, she is coming down fast.
