RE: Great Planes 1/4 scale Gene Soucy Extra 300S Review Now posted

I have been running a DA-50 in mine for quite a few years... it flys fantastic with the power of the 50cc and floats in for nice landings as well. The only thing I did was replaced the soft landing...

I used the taller ones, the 7 7/8". Regarding the Patty Wagstaff gear, I have no experience with them, but I will say the the TNT gear were twice as thick as the original gear an FAR stronger. The...

Sounds great Ww. Dowel will work, or even just hardwood block, stacked to the right height and epoxied together.
Be sure to let us know how it works out for you.

I put my 5 cell receiver pack in the tail of the fuse, behind the servos, right up against the rear end of the fuse.. You have to pull one of the servos out and slip it in through the little hatch in...

Oh ya... and I forgot to mention. I put on TNT's tall landing gear made for this plane. They're stronger and taller which makes for better prop clearance when using 50cc.

I have a DA-50 in mine. It flys great. And it fits in my Sunfire better than most 50cc planes would. If you have a 50, go for it. You won't regret it.

Gman... I'm currently running 2.4 ghz which 'they' say is not affected by ignition noise. However, I was running plain old FM in the past and never had a problem.

Just as an encouragement, I have a DA-50 in my Soucy and it flies great... lands great... flips and flops great... and pulls out of a hover no problem.
It is my opinion that this plane can take...

RE: UK Magnums

I've used silicone to custom fit the wing saddle on many planes. It's easy and you can't get a better fit! Good choice.
