RE: help im a noobie and got engine trouble with my hyper 8.5 with a mac star .28

I owned a macstar and wasnt that happy with it. I would have stuck with the .21 in the buggy. The macstar was a touchy engine. When you are making adjustments, make them very small adjustments like...

RE: How many min. per tank do you guys get? (Losi 8ight, any)

One benefit to a longer fuel line and filter is it gives more run time if you flip the buggy on the track. If your buggy is upside down the fuel pickup in the bottom of the tank cant pull fuel so it...

RE: New to RC, need some assistance with the car!

First I would google the engine and get stock settings. That is always a good place to start. Trims are for very small adjustments, don't try tuning your buggy with them. It looks as though you have...

RE: Diff fluid in Ofna Hyper Sprint

A lot of RTR's come stock with grease in the diff. As far as what diff oil to put in with a rebuild of the diff depends on the surface you are on.

RE: Will baking PBS (Pillow Ball Suspension) make it less likely to bend?

You can temper metal by rapid heating and cooling, but I am not to sure about doing it in an oven. I would order more so you don't run out. You need to work on your driving a little more thats all....

RE: engine dies on landing

What kind of chassis braces? Are you getting excessive chassis flex. Check that your CB spins freely, not only bearings, but proper clearance of the shoes/pivot pins. I would pull the engine open it...

I could find anything on an AE racing team. Only American Eagle racing, which was not offroad. Got any links.

RE: Traxxas Buggy

I would not buy a Traxxas, because I have not been that impressed with what I have seen of them. But I am pretty sure they are the only RC company that actually runs full scale pro1 trucks. So they...

Do you have any photos. Could be a rebadged product under a diff name in other parts of the world.

RE: Come race with us.

I am sure you meant nothing by it. At the tracks down my way you do have to have your ROAR card to run. I do agree with you on tabletop placement, but a lesson I am sure will be learned fast. You can...

RE: Jammin X2 nose diving.

Check your breaks if your tight , especially on the fronts you'll dip after a launch. I've never had that problem(front end being heavy that is). Are you the only one having this problem? If so it is...

RE: Come race with us.

Looks like a fun tech track to me. There are a few deep corners that someone could squat in to marshall. It will force you to become a better driver. PVC is per ROAR rules for 1/8 scale off road...

RE: URGENT!!! DRIVE PROBLEM WITH BRAND NEW CAR..PLEASE HELP TO MAKE 10 YEAR OLD BOY HAPPY!!

If you have proper gear mesh between clutch gear and spur gear, and they both spin when throttle is given, then you problem is probably the set screws in the outdrive cups from one or both of your...

RE: Failsafe

I have never lost a throttle linkage. I have on the other hand lost power and I can say a throttle return spring does work. I have had it work in several races. I dont use a servo with extreme torque...

RE: Failsafe

Then its not a throttle return spring hence the name throttle return. When you have no power to your servos your throttle return spring should be strong enough to bring you carb to 0 throttle. I have...

RE: Failsafe

In a loss of power you are going to lose power to failsafe. A failsafe will kick in with a low signal, low voltage, not no voltage. A throttle return spring will save you in a loss of power...

RE: Failsafe

Nothing wrong with full break, but 1/4 doesnt hurt. You should have the end points set on your trans/servos to avoid stress on servos and linkage.
