RE: The Better HeliPro Black Hawk

Sorry for the late reply, have not been on here much lately.
On the ESC, a 25A is likely too small as I think the Blackhawk comes with a 30A or 35A stock.

Also, are you certain that the...

RE: The Better HeliPro Black Hawk

Hmmm, somehow I missed the last few posts on here for some reason. Didn't show any new posts when I logged in.

Anyhow, David, you are correct. When you move the throttle stick up, the motor...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

I just thought I would post this little tid-bit here for those guys that are having trouble learning nose-in hovering. I myself never really practiced it much since it seemed a little boring, but,...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

I try to stay away from there as the roads are terrible. Much worse than ours here in PA. The pot holes there are capable of swallowing entire small cars. I make it a point to never drive West...

RE: The Better HeliPro Black Hawk

David, that is probably a wise choice. Although I feel that the BH450se is a well built helicopter that flys great, the parts support is not nearly as good as it used to be. The people at Ka-Planes...

RE: The Better HeliPro Black Hawk

Well now, it has been a long time since this thread has been active. :)
First off, let me say congrats David on your new Blackhawk 450. Second, Hello Gizmo, it has been a long time, and of...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

OK guys, just one question. In the photo in post #7284 (I think that was it ), I know who the people are on the left in the pic, and I know who is in the 'big chair', but just wondering who are the 2...

RE: Tail Servo not resetting. Noob help. Video supplied.

Judging from the video it appears that the gyro is in heading hold mode. When you make a rudder stick input with the helicopter sitting on the bench, the gyro is expecting the helicopter to yaw...

RE: does a quality transmitter really make a difference?

Well, a quality TX will not help you fly better, as in controlling the helicopter, but, it will give you the ability to program the 'set-up' to get it as near perfect as possible. Also, if in the...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Hey Scott, I might be interested in taking 1 or 2 of those gyros off your hands. Let me know what you have and what you want for them.

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Chuck, I am pretty sure that we might be disrupting Mother Nature a little, but, the Earth warmed up quite a bit after the "Ice Age" without our help. It's all Scott's fault for flying that smoking...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Geez Scott, you had me wondering there for a minute too about IRCHA ending. I am getting really tired of hearing all the predictions about the world coming to an end. I have read the Bible from...

RE: blackhawk 450 newbie

It is always best to set the pitch at 0 degrees at mid stick for all flight modes. Then you can set the pitch curve in normal mode so you have about -2 degrees at low stick. You should generally...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Max, I hope you enjoy your lil 250. The small ones are a ball to fly, but you have to keep your eye on them all the time as they move really quick. When flying my Hurri 425, HH500, or 550 I can...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Hey Scott,
What size tail blades are you using on your HeadHunter? I built my HeadHunter with the medium boom and 500mm blades, and had 84mm tail blades on it. The tail was way too fast and I got...

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2

Scott and Ivan, try learning to fly nice smooth circles the way I did and see if it helps. I just started with flying some nice smooth 8's, then at each "side" of the 8, I would just continue the...

RE: What would you choose? TREX 550 or Gaui X5?

Wow, that looks like a great deal. Here in the U.S. the X5 kit is $699 with only the motor and esc. You are getting the gyro and 4 servos for less than $100 extra.:D
