The gear I use, and I have the same problem, is the
dubro Cat. No. 789 gear.

I attach it with 1/4-20 nylon bolts and 1/4-20 T-nuts.

I fly from a rough field and have seen too many gear...

You have sharp eyes to spot the Aurora in the Avatar. YEP, this was my favorite plane in the early 90s, and I still have it. I flew this and a Brushfire in competition.

Submike RE: U-Can-Do 46

You will love this plane with a Saito 100. CG at 6 inches. I don't know about the prop. The gear sucks, I use Dubro plastic gear, and I don't bother with the wheel...

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

Hello, Mando

Nothing wrong with cutting into the cockpit area, I would paint the inside of the canopy so the tank doesn't show.

However, I am curious. I haven't put a tank on the C.G....

Hello, Blackbird

A mod I have made is the landing gear. I fly from a rough field and changed gear to the Dubro plastic gear. Also, I went to 1/4-20 nylon bolts instead of the 6-32 bolts...

Side force generators for a U-Can-Do? Nope, not on my list.

I want to talk to the guy that says he can do a CLIMBING inverted flat spin with a U-Can-Do.
