the teknodrive clutch is always engaged, it just slips abit at very low end to quell some of the bottom torque from a monster truggy motor ;)

i have an xerun 80amp system in my buggy, and the esc has the sensor plug, but not the motor. nothing comes up on the programing card about sensor anything.

try lowering your suspension, moving the shocks to the outer points on the bottom arms. you might even be able to get a sway bar kit for it as well? what are you running for tires? maybe try dialing...

the 80a should be fine, as long as you dont go any higher than 4s and use the right gearing. if you want to go balls out with 6s then you will need the bigger setup.

just because it has a lower voltage doesn't mean it will be slower with lipo's. they hit harder and dump power alot more consistantly than nimhs. they are also lighter too, which helps out too.

my slash 2wd was a tank, i never had to take it apart, besides a rear bearing carrier, and a spur gear. lots of racing and big jumps and crashes on that thing :D, the stampede, rustler, and slash 2wd...

just get an imax b6 off ebay, they are like 40 plus shipping and will charge ANYTHING!

oh and the connector isn't whats important, just chop off whatever is on there and solder on some deans...
