Got a little more done today. Fabricated a tray to cover the nose section of the plane. Underneath that tray I'll hide the receiver batteries, the smoke pump and a bunch of ugly wires.

Is there a reason why everybody moves the thrust tube so far backwards that it sits flush with the fiberglass tailcone? Wouldn't it be advised to move the turbine and thrust tube closer to the tank...
