As a rule of thumb, if a taxing model gets blown or lifted from the main wheels when on crosswind its too windy.

If you finish training on the avistar to the point of mastering every landing with no problem then you could move to a low winger like a Fourstar 60, CG Tiger 60, GP Big Stik 60 and a Easy Sport 40....

Have you put anything else together besides the GWS Beaver? If you havent then you really cant say that the LT-40 is a piece of cake to put together. The Beaver is an ARF which could be put together...
