I replaced the blades and feathering shaft , no problems except for an intermittent unusual noise. I discovered the frame was cracked allowing the motor gear to slip...... but no other damage, didnt...

ahh , yep that makes perfect sense , I had one boom "chopped" pretty good awhile back. This one was slightly bowed and I was able to correct it , replace nicked blades, everything else was ok and it...

What I have trouble with is understanding why the heli explodes on landing..not really but it looks like it. Many times the tail boom gets bent but there is no motor or blade damage. ( thats good,...

the transmitter is not in the shunt mode

Oh and the really unnerving part was this last time it lost power it suddenly spooled up enough to toss it a few feet. The blades struck grass and tore the covering off one at the tip.

My SR has shuts down power exactly as if I had used the throttle down switch.
Several times as I spool up this happens as if to abort for a problem. I tried freshly charged batteries, no help.
