RE: CARF CT-114 Tutor 2.6m Build thread

I have my CG at the centre of the wing tube with some fuel on board (20% or so).
Don't know if this point translates to the one given in the manual, but i suspect it is a bit more backwards.
With...

RE: CARF CT-114 Tutor 2.6m Build thread

I have been flying in quite heavy crosswinds and never experienced this my self.
Could be several things. How is your toe-in? about 1-1,5 deg is fine.
At what part in the take off roll does this...

RE: Large Skymaster Hawk build

I am at 230 mm now with 1/3 of total fuel (CG goes forward with increasing fuel load). A lot better now, but still a bit nose heavy for my liking. Will try 10mm more the next time i i fly it.

RE: CARF CT-114 Tutor 2.6m Build thread

yes, it is a bit of a floater, but let it slow down and it will land when ready with nose high attitude.

I use 45 deg flap and about 5 mm ail up with full flap

RE: Winter project - Skymaster Large BAE Hawk

Flies great too, but feels different.
The SM hawk flies more scale IMO and feels more massive in the air which is excactly what i like.

Next time, i will try with the drop tanks as well.
