I'm a long-time RC nut and have been doing a lot of electric helicopters and airplanes lately. I used to run an RC car a long, long time ago. I think it was a basic Tamiya 2WD buggy with an...

I bought a new T-Rex 550e about 6 weeks ago after flying my T-Rex 450 Pro for about a year and a half. My 450 arrived as a conventional flybar machine and I learned to fly fairly well with it. Then...

RE: Did you fly today?

Today, I completed the 11th and 12th flight on my new T-Rex 550e DFC. I activated the governor yesterday and now have 4 flights in that condition. I really, really like the governor (built-in Talon...

RE: Show us your first helicopter

Schluter Mini-Boy. Son's first helicopter. Bought it used. He was probably the 3rd or 4th owner, so the thing was pretty tired. OS.45 could just barely get it into a hover:

RE: Did you fly today?

Well, I got in 3 flights on my T-Rex 450 this morning, all in the highest winds I've ever had the nerve to try. I have to admit that I sometimes don't give my 450 enough credit, especially since I...

RE: Did you fly today?

I can really relate to that! After thinking about it for a few weeks now, I ordered a new T-Rex 550e with iKON and two ROC 6S 5000 mAh LiPo batteries. Cant' wait!

RE: Did you fly today?

Got in 5 flights on my T-Rex 450 this morning. It was dead calm when I arrived at the RC field. Did a warm up flight, then practiced pirouettes, flips and rolls. Also did some FFF with...

Gyros for 3D flying?

I have a Magnum XL.70FS powered U-Can-Do 3D (46 size). I'm happy with the way it flies, but I've been entertaining the idea of perhaps installing one or more gyros to help me learn some of the...

RE: Shuttle Z Troubleshooting
