I flew my 79" yak arf for the first time today too. Flew great! Hovers at 1/2 throttle or less with a Moki 2.1. Only flew it twice because the wind started picking up so I didn't get to try...

RE: 79" yak arf question

RE: 3D Spirit

I saw the 3D spirit at the model hobby show in Chicago. This thing is built LIGHT. It looks weak behind the wing where the fuse turns into stringers. The ailerons and tail surfaces are cut out of...

RE: Which Radio?

Rumor has it Futaba is comming out with a new 6 (or 7?) channel next month with the same display and rotory dial as the 9C. I'm sure it's to compete w/JR 6102 which looks really nice for the money.

RE: Hanger 9 Cap 80'' vs G.P.Wagstaff

I've had both with a Moki 2.1. The H9 80' cap is a GREAT 3d plane. Elevators and harriers w/no wing rock, waterfalls great. Landing gear plate is weak and is hard to reinforce. Over time, normal...

RE: H9 33% 330s -Avg. aerobat or 3d monster?

Thanks for the reply. Where did you mount the elevator and rudder servos and how did the balance work out with the zdz? Sounds like a cool plane. This will be my first 33%.

H9 33% 330s -Avg. aerobat or 3d monster?

I am considering the H9 33% extra w/zdz 80. The covering scheme is cool and the price seems to be right. To anyone that has flown it, is this plane EXCELLENT for 3D? Has anyone tried elevators,...

RE: Kyosho Flip 3D

I pinned the landing gear block. Drill a couple 1/8" holes from back to front and glue in some dowl rod. Seems to work good.

RE: Best Overall 3D Profile?? Need Opinions.

I have the opm (ff & gs), sledge, pro-twister and extreme 330. If you don't want to build get the extreme. It's heavier but it still flies great and would be the same money (maybe less than the...

RE: Harriers

My vote goes to the Pro-Twister. Put some spoilers on and there is absolutely NO wing rock! I don't know why. It seems like a old design and nothing special but the thing does the best harriers!
