RE: NEW~~~E-Flite Extra 260 480 ARF~~~

With 4 micro servos, the bec will be fine. The only thing I would tell you is make sure the esc has plenty of airflow across it.

RE: parkzone f27-c stryker

This is not my video, but this is how I launch mine. After years of flying the stryker, I have seen some people have issues, some not with this. I launch at around 3/4 throttle with a slight up...

RE: epp 3d plane for flatout outrunner setup

If you don't mind cutting your own epp, the slofly would be a good one. Deisgned by Steve at Slofly.com.

Another would be Mr. Flash's epp Ultimate bipe.

If you do a quick goggle you will...

RE: Going to maiden my EF 260 480 this weekend

Just be careful about the landing gear breaking off. They tend to fold backwards and through the wings on the 480. I have done this twice, and in the posts I have read on the 480, it seems to be an...

RE: Canopy release mod ????

You could use a canopy latch.

You would have to cut a small hole for the latch to sit down in and also add a pin at...

RE: MORE brushless POWER!!!!!!!!!

You could use the same motor 2408 with a 3 cell 1500-2100mah lipo and a 7x6 prop for the warbird. It will have plenty of pitch speed to fly it.

If you want a better option, use the 2409-18 with...

RE: Radio/servo setup help needed

The only problem I would see is making sure your bec can handle the servos. If not, use a ubec. It sounds like you are using 6 servos, even if they are micro servos (like HS-55 or smaller), I would...

RE: Cheap Alternatives to stuff at the hobby shop

A good money saver I found is Blenderm 3M tape used for hinges on foamies. Hobby shops sell it between 3.75 and 4.50 a roll in my neck of the woods. So I order directly from a medical supply...

I believe a prop will stall at 0 rpm. :)

If you want to know the planes stall speed here's how

Weight of the plane in ounces divided by the wing area(in sq. ft.) = wing loading(in ounces)
