No. 8J and 10J transmitters are S-FHSS/T-FHSS...

No. 8J and 10J transmitters are S-FHSS/T-FHSS only with the 10J capable of using both protocols. 8J uses S-FHSS only.

I don't know specifically about the F949 board you reference but many of the WLToys models will work with Futaba S-FHSS protocol. If you have access to a Futaba try binding it.
