RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures

VP, Amoco, etc... at every drag strip or dirt track in the USA ( supposed to be for off-road use only or in 1975 or older cars). That stuff is like porn for old racers...one sniff of GOOD fuel...

RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures

As for in the UK, I have no idea why you would drive around so long with the break-in metal particles floating around in your oil...not a dealer I would go to( you might ask Edd China what he...

RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures

Most ALL engine manufacturers recommend standard petroleum oil for engine break in, not synthetic. Synthetic is just that much more slippery and will take much longer to "wear in" components. I have...

RE: Ultra-RC Giles 202 E-Conversion

I am in the process and you can check it out over on RC Groups in the sport planes forum. I would think that big Himax would almost be overkill ! My bare airframe weight with hardware is 89.8 ounces...

RE: First giant Scale

I would start with a quarter scale plane such as the WH 1/4 Edge as your first big aerobatic plane. The resoning is you will need to learn to "fly it to the ground". Unlike a floaty profile, the big...

RE: Yak for a YS 1.40FZ???

I have a YS 1.20 AC that turns an APC 18x6W 8850RPM's on 30% heli fuel and it 3D's the crap out of a 10LB 80" profile at no more than half throttle for anything ( to keep the wings attached !) . I...

RE: Gas RC Boat ?'s

One thing that has not been mentioned is engine life of gas versus nitro. A nitro engine is pretty much ready for a rebuild after 3 to 5 gallons where a gas engine is just getting broken in at that...

RE: duel-motor b/l esc's

First off, you must use one brushless ESC to one motor, so you need 2 for a dual motor set-up. Some people may say you can run 2 off 1 controller, but you stand the risk of one getting out of phase...

RE: whats the biggest engine on ucd 60

I have a Webra 1.20 in mine with a perry pump. The tank was moved under the wing on the cg and the battery had to be moved behind the wing mount. This thing is way over powered and will hover at 4 or...

RE: LR-1 Pylon racer

One thing to always remember on electrics...use a speed control higher than your expected maximum amp draw , in other words leave some "head room" . The Phx. 80 is rated for 80 amps continuous with...

RE: Accel Katana GS70 Assembly thread

The Kat 70 will fly fine on as little as an OS61FX. I flew my customers for him and it would hover at a little over 1/3 throttle swinging a 13x4 APC and using a Mac's pipe on the motor (15% nitro)....

RE: Best Hovering 40 Size Airplane

RE: YS 63 FZ RPM

I know it's not a .63, but my used YS .53 gets 11,338 RPM's on a 13 x 4 prop running 30 % heli fuel. This think yanks my Accel Katana all over the place, hovers at 1/4 throttle !

RE: YS 1.40 FZ in 12lb plane?

The YS 1.40 is easily more powerful than the Saito 1.80, heck my YS 1.20 AC is more powerful than my Saito 1.80 was ! Run YS 20/20 or some good 30% heli if you want more power. I run an APC 18x6W on...
