the motor gear box probably only has about 6-7 hours on it. This has only been happening in the last hour or so of use. I will check the wires with the RX.

One more thing. When it does quit, if I stop the trottle for a second, then advance it again, the motor will start back up. That makes me think that it is not a connection problem, and is somehow...

The lack of interest in the spitfire is probably because there is already several out there. I think you need something new to perk some interest.
