As far as the plate you mentioned. If it is the one that butts up to former F5 & F8, and sits on top of former F7, I figured it was the bottom of the center wing servo...

Thank you for your input. The plane I am most concerned about is a Midwest 27% Extra 300 with a Brison 3.2 gasser. I have a remote kill switch for the engine but it wont work if my switch or battery...
