Happened to me once then I boiled the new spur and adjusted the mesh, and haven't had any problems since.

RE: 2 speed problems

Unfortunately, I too had a bad experience with my 2 speed, but perhaps just a bad luck as I made sure that everything was fitted and setup properly before running my new 2 speed.
Both the 35T (with...

RE: 2 speed gearbox IRCP-30850

Take off the springs carefully and check the seal between the header and the pipe, it may not be sitting properly.

New kid on the block. Just wondering if anyone has run this truck?, feedback? as I'm thinking of getting one. Gear setup looks like the XRayNT18T.

RE: how many turns

Cen,

Just sharing my experience.
I found that the low speed needle is quite sensitive, if set too rich the engine would be difficult to start, my LSN is set about 2 turns out. once broken-in...

RE: fuel tank cap o ring air anfd fuel leak leak

Derrik,

You would need 10mm (ID) x 14mm (OD) silicone o-ring, I got mine from a local hardware store - o-ring set.
Tightening the screw underneath the cap work as well (to an extent - if...

RE: what fule line to replace the vul can stock line ?

Standard 2.5mm I.D fuel line (eg: for 1/8 scale) will not properly fit the fittings and may leak.
I used Dubro fuel line blue (1.5mm I.D) for small plane engines, it fits right, thicker and more...

Hyper MACH 28 TEMP ?

I have just acquired the Hyper Mach 28 in My Hyper 7.
The engine packs plenty of punch, however from the beginning I am puzzled by the running temps, it seems to like it running hot.
On a "good...

RE: tuning motor hoe many turns out are you ?

LSN 1 3/4 turns out from closed, HSN 2 turns out from closed. I found that the LSN is very sensitive and anything more than 2 1/2 turns and she'd have a hard time starting up. Cheers.

RE: Leak/Stall

Great, looking forward to your advice Mindcrime. I've had similar issues.
I think the front bearing leaks a bit as per common Toki hi crank pressure, and my crank had a 0.8mm thrust play when new,...

Mindcrime and Rc Boss,

I'm looking at getting the 2 speed option, however have heard of the spur gear being relatively fragile - not necessarily IRC brand part but likely very similar in design;...
