RE: Wemo Minifan 480 Pro - Max power?

Hi.

Yup, for real - the motor is an Arc 28-58-1, 3180kv. A really exceptional inrunner that some people are putting insane amounts of power through (take a look on Youtube).

Afraid I don't...

RE: HET 2W30 running HOT

Will haul it all out and test the amps between motor and ESC soon as I have a gap.

Don't think the motor's binding, turns very smoothly. Actually ran the motor at very low revs with no load at...

RE: Arc 28mm motors - which one?

Hey Dr. Kiwi - PM'd you the other day about the same thing and appreciate the advice.

Arc 28mm motors - which one?

Limited to 3S 2200 (30C) cells and a 6x4 prop, which Arc inrunner is going to give me the best performance?

I've seen data which says the 28-58-1 will spin an APC 6x4 up to around 26000rpm,...

Things I learned the hard way, pt. 1

Never use thread locking compound on a plastic motor mount.

The magic 3v

If I make a miscalculation when flying, and drop the voltage of one of my cells slightly below 3v (like, 2.9), but I'm saved by my ESC's cut-off and don't put anymore strain on the battery, have I...

RE: Stupid question for clever people

Thanks for the info da Rock - guess it ultimately comes down to trail and error, as I discovered last night when, within 45 seconds, my speed 400 motor turned its rusty innards into goober grape and...

If I have a 4 blade 7 x 3 prop, would this be anything like a 2 blade 14 x 3 prop, or maybe a 2 blade 7 x 6 prop?

I know that it doesn't quite work like that, due to...

What causes glitches?

I have a 35Mhz JR Quattro transmiter and R700 receiver. Bottom of the range stuff, but it works brilliantly. Most of the time.
