RE: Bell jetranger 450 1/13.5 scale

I have one of these in the red and white like the picture on the right.. I never did anything with it other than open the box and look at it. I have moved on to other things and will never do...

RE: what to buy 600 or 700 trex

If my friends HK 600 had had a 4500 battery NoUBECand UBEC battery it would have been no more than 3 oz heavier than my stock 550 and a much bigger rotor disc..

RE: what to buy 600 or 700 trex

Contrary to popular belief the 600 is not a whole lot heavier than a 550. A friend just finished a HK 600 with a 5000ma battery and a small separate battery for his UBEC. On a 10 pound digital fish...

Aurora 9 charge socket issue

My charger will not connect to the transmitter electrically to recharge the battery. The side contact seems to be too far from the center pin to contact the side of the charger jack. With a small...

RE: cheap but good servos for a 500

Something you should think about if you haven't already is a at least 5a UBEC. Four digital servos can draw a lot of power that your ESC may struggle to provide. Also to make the job of your tail...

RE: what to buy 600 or 700 trex

Would you mind passing along who makes that power plug.

It looks like from the nearly vertical mounting of the battery you would not have much choice of battery weight. My 450,500 and 550...

RE: what to buy 600 or 700 trex

If you flip the landing gear struts around and put the rubber sleeves on the back end of the struts you will find less troible with your tail rotors in the grass. The tail will set higher.

RE: what to buy 600 or 700 trex

That is a heck of a big jump. I chose to go up to a 550. The 600 and 700 are a older design and the 550 is all new although it does use some 600 parts like the swash. No belcranks from servo to swash...

RE: cheap but good servos for a 500

RE: parts for 450 clone and 500 clone

If you are having that much trouble with Heliproz don't even bother calling them. For me they are always my first choice. They always tell me if they are out of stock of something I want. I then call...

RE: EXI500 - Stock availibility

You are dreaming if you think a human order taker, if you are able to speak to one, is going to inventory a kit that is probably 4000 miles from where he is. That is just unrealistic. EXI has a good...

RE: Is it just me or .... Align frame hex screws

13,

You will find that virtually all the small metric socket head boltsused in our helis are GR12.9 and that is the best grade available. Stainless is soft. Phillips and pan head screws can be...

RE: Is it just me or .... Align frame hex screws

The screws you use should be grade 12.9. That is the hardest grade. It doesn't matter where you buy them just ask the grade. Grade numbers are a industry standard. Also always use a straight shank...
