RE: cleaning car

Good job, that looks great! All you have to do now is try to tame that bird's nest of wires. ;)
I'm sure you could find some 3racing shocks (or something similar) that will fit that car. Just...

If soaking it doesn't help remove the tape glue, you can try a little alcohol or nail polish remover. that should do it no problem.

RE: cleaning car

Very nice, I love the Ultima.

RE: Good 300 dollar HD camcorder for filming flying aircraft?

That works very well. I've done it to record video, with great of success. Instead of a stick, you can also simply hook the other end of the string to your belt/belt loop.
I've used this method a...

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

Holy crap. That is very impressive! What's original on that still? Just the frame? Have you posted a breakdown of everything you've done to this rig yet? I can't wait to hear how this performs.

RE: Now contains 15% more AWSOMENESS

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the bolts thing.
(A) I'm going to change to 1/4" lock nuts (vibration can cause the mounts to come loose)
and (B) I will probably drill holes through the bolts in...

RE: Keep your Ultralite Running (Landslide)

Hi Craig.

I haven't actually found any redcat suppliers around us, but I have been buying parts for the HPI RTR3 evo... many parts are either the same, or very simlar to the tsunami. (some...

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

Hi Brett.

Yeah, I thought something seemed weird in the drivetrain-dept. Rolling the car backwards by hand usually made the clutch and stuff rotate, but with the rear bones out of the car it...

RE: Keep your Ultralite Running (Landslide)

I've been having fun over the past week or two modifying/grinding/filing/drilling/ parts from more commonly available makes/models (HPI for example) Some of my swaps have been;
last week:...

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

Other than the obvious difference in performance, If I pull the dogbones out of the rear-end, and run the truck in 2wd/fwd for a couple of days, can I expect any damage or limitations from my drive...

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

Hey, thanks dude.

Yeah, that's the part I am after. I will look into that tonight. I'll stop by the hobby store on my way home from work to see what my options are.

Thanks!

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

I'm not sure where i saw it, (I'm pretty sure it was on these forums) but I remember seeing a post that had people listing compatible/interchangeable parts that would work on Tsunamis. I'm having a...

Hi all. It's been 20 years since I raced stuff like electric off roads and 12/th scale onroads, (not to mention I'm only 2 days into the nitro experience)
I'm actually in the process of trying to...
