RE: New B44 setup thoughts please

I'd get into the SCT craze if it wasnt so expensive....I hate traxxas and I refuse to pay $400+ for ANY of their vehicles... Besides, the B44 is good for me because of how challenging it is to run....

RE: New B44 setup thoughts please

I started off with a RC10GT myself, back in the mid 90's! I still have both of my original ones! I also have a rc10gt flat chassis, and rc10gt2 FT, rc8 FT, rc8b FT, rc8t FT, b44 FT, rc18t RTR, and...

RE: New B44 setup thoughts please

Hahaha! That's good!

The car should rip regardless, and it's a great car, I freakin love it. I used to have a Yokomo B-max4, and that thing just broke everytime I even hit the ON switch.... This...

RE: New B44 setup thoughts please

Well, if you can handle the 6.5's, then they are golden. The problem is that most 10th scale tracks are just too small for such a powerful motor.... But since you are just going to be putting the car...

RE: New B44 setup thoughts please

Hey there buddy!

I run a B44 myself, and I can tell ya that a 6.5 is actualy a little too much. The B44's are actualy about the lightest 10th scale 4wd out there, being that it was designed...

RE: RC8T Diff Problem HELP

Hmm....this sounds weird to me? I durability tested my 8t's diffs and got 7 gallons on em before I deemed it time to service em (they could have gone longer, but wasn't worth the possible damage)....

RE: which one to club race?

That's not entirely true....Sure it's not cut out, but that's not because it's "stronger", it's because it's cheaper to just leave it as it comes out of the mold..... That does nothing for the...

RE: might buy a hb D8 any suggestions?

All I can say is that everyone at our local tracks here that has a hot bodies has numerous durability issues....Drivelines prematurely wear, a-arms snap, bulkheads break, all kinds of stupid crap. Ya...

RE: WHAT IS THE BEST RACING 1/8 RTR TRUGGY I CAN GET FOR 300$ TO 400$

+1 for the RC8T rtr.... It's modern, tough as nails, handles great, and is easy to get parts for. I'd say go the extra $100 for something new instead of cutting corners to get something cheaper and...

RE: which one to club race?

Get a .21 for the buggy. A .28 is too much power, plus buggy fuel tanks are 25cc smaller than truggy ones, so expect something like 5-6 minutes of run time with that motor.....I can make 10 minutes...

RE: which one to club race?

What are you talking about?..... The RC8B is probaly the most stable 8th scale buggy on the market at any speed.....That's what makes it such a incredible buggy. Plus, it offers the most in "bang for...

RE: best mod for a mini t

Ball diff is a must-have if you run a upgraded motor....the stock tranny can't handle the extra power at all. Also, the CVD's are a nice touch. Btw, that's a bad-***** motor! I had one until it...

RE: truugy selection!

Once the screws fall out once, the case is no longer any good.....regardless if they snug back up or not.... Besides, that happens with every car now and then. It's happened to my RC8, my Z01-T, and...

RE: RC8brs

But the losi loses ya money in the durability range....plastics wear out very quickly, and the car develops a crap-ton of slop very quickly......still, they are quick cars....
