H9 33% Cap TOUCHY Elevator

If you are using a JR radio a negative expo number will make control response more sensitive around center. I would start out with 25% on elevator/rudder as a starting point, and then on subsequent...

Saito 100

Howdy Daz,

Not so much of an "I told you so" as it is a "Something to consider once the engine comes back from being repaired".. ;)

I think a lot of people just put in the fuel and fire them...

Saito 100

Finally had to comment on this one.. I see one thing missing almost consistently when people list their "first start" sequence. Page four of the FA-100 manual states quite clearly to: "Apply a few...

Goldberg super decathalon

Hey TheEdge,

Did you have any trouble with the cg balancing with the 150? I might repower mine from an FA-100 to something larger in the future.. Also, is your 150 horizontal or inverted? Any...

This may have affected the CA hinges also.. It was 22'F when we arrived at the field, 19'F when we left.. It was the first week or so in March in northern Minnesota.. Notice the first picture with...

Lost elevator..

Not much left of that APC 13x9. Attempted a last minute knife edge recovery (landing would have been fun to watch) and didn't cut the power fast enough when it failed.. If it had worked, imagine...

Hello Carlos,

It had about 15 flights on it.. It was a Hobbistar 60 semi-symetrical with a Saito FA-100. This was the first time attempting to see what the planes limits were after some...

Lost elevator..

Did a few tight loops, leveled out and flew about 50 feet before losing the elevator.. Went down thru a pine tree and shredded to bits, fluttering down into a 60 foot circle..
