RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

I agree outa, I don't know why someone would choose to come into this thread and start bashing a particular plane out of the blue. I have a profile, and it's ridiculously easy to do any 3d move you...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

Maidened my twist today. I wanted to get video, but ran off and forgot the camera. The Brillelli is an incredible engine. Tuned it, and flew, didn't touch it after that. I'd recommend anyone wanting...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

Got my Brillelli today, I couldn't wait and had to install it. It was extremely easy due to the custom work done by Scott at Brillelli. I only had to cut the cheeks a little. I still have to wire up...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

First time I've been in a "brotherhood" 10 is a good number.

Oh, I should get my brillelli 26 today or tomorrow. I'll get it in asap and post pics. Scott at Brillelli did a custom job for me to...

RE: New Hanger 9 p-51 mustang **Trainer?!?**

The same as stock will fit fine. I can't remember the size off the top of my head. The ones that are in this one are the ones off of the 60 mustang. they are some type of lightweight foam with a...

RE: New Hanger 9 p-51 mustang **Trainer?!?**

I don't really know how much time it took, because it was one of those "mess with it when you have time things". I started out by getting the retract wells for the H9 60 size mustang. I then used...

RE: New Hanger 9 p-51 mustang **Trainer?!?**

Here's a link to a video of the retracts working(not a flight video)

I'll try to get some flight video on friday and post it.

RE: New Hanger 9 p-51 mustang **Trainer?!?**

I've had this "trainer" for almost 2 years now. I moved on to different planes, so I retired it for a while to put retracts in it. Thought I'd give yall a look. It's not that pretty since it was...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

I just got my twist 150 last week, and I'll be putting a Brillelli 26 in it. I've hot hitec 5945s on all surfaces. Should be a blast to fly with such a strong engine. As soon as the engine gets here...

RE: Brillelli or BCMA 26cc

Not to mention a big price difference between the evolution and the brillelli when you consider you still have to buy a muffler for the evolution.

I recently got my first gasser and I'm so...

Brillelli or BCMA 26cc

I'm wanting to do a Twist 150 with a 26cc engine. I like what I've read while doing research on these 2 engines. What I can't decide though is which one to go with. The brillelli has alot more power...

RE: Knife edge Pulse XT 40

as a matter of fact you can hover it. I've recently got into the 50cc gassers and have decided to get rid of my glow planes(I have too many anyway) The pulse is the only one that I'll be keeping....

RE: Knife edge Pulse XT 40

mine will hold a KE just fine. OS 55 with 13x6. The flat spin isnt completely flat, but moving the cg back would fix that. I fly it with the throws at max.

RE: 28% Edge Wing problem

after I typed the above post, I think I thought of the problem. If the wing tube is bent, or if the slot where the wing tube goes through the fuse is misaligned, then this would cause this problem....

28% Edge Wing problem

I got this one used the other day. I have it all ready to go except I have one more problem to correct. I have another thread running somewhere, but figured this might be more appropriate here.

RE: First gasser

They are hitec 5945mg. I think you may be correct about the weight of the ailerons, when the receiver is turned off, they drop down. The elevator servos do it too, but not the rudder, as it has no...

RE: First gasser

I picked up my Edge yesterday, i have everything setup, but I'm having a problem with the servos. They are screaming like they are binding, but it's when they are at neutral. Any ideas on what that...

RE: First gasser

At this point I'm stuck with my 6 channel radio, so I will Y the ailerons until I can get a 7 or greater channel radio. I do agree with rctom about the throttle sticking, that would be painful to...

RE: First gasser

that makes sense. is there a downside to hooking up the ailerons with a regular y like I do on my other planes? that way I could make it with 6 channels and keep the choke on a servo.

RE: First gasser

the choke is also on a servo, I would need 7 channels if I used that setup. What makes the reverser not in my best interest?

RE: Twist PNP vs. Pulse XT PNP

I have both, I love both. The pulse would be more suited for training purposes. The twist is a throw around type plane that is a handful if you don't have enough experience. The pulse is a great...

First gasser

I just put down a deposit on a Wild Hare Edge 540 at the LHS. It's got a DA50, hitec 5945's in aileron and elevator, 5735 in rudder. All it lacks is the rx and batts.

I currently fly with a jr...

I'm ordering the cap as soon as I finish my current project. If you get it before me, let me know about the quality.
