RE: Tamiya Rising Storm

Thanks for the replies, guys. I did take apart my whole drivetrain system and put it back together, and now the slipping noise isn't as bad.

RE: Tamiya Rising Storm

Hey Mark,
I just got the same EZ Run motor set up as you, and put it in my Rising Storm. I use 6 cell and 7 cell (hump) NIHM batteries, and the car really flies! (especially with the 7 cell!!!)

RE: ParkFlyers.com Cessna 182 RTF

In my case it's just the servos twitching. In what little flight time I had with the Cessna I'd have to say it was pretty smooth. I have no complaints against the plane (other than how breakable...

RE: RX problems; Newbie needs help

Thanks for the info, John. I did match up all of the things you listed (band, frequency, channel, shift). My only conclusion is that the new Hitech TX doesn't like the old crystal, so I've ordered...

RE: ParkFlyers.com Cessna 182 RTF

RX update:
I gave up on Parkflyers ever sending me a replacement receiver (they didn't respond to my emails and each time I called I got their answering machine). So I ordered a new Hitech...

RE: ParkFlyers.com Cessna 182 RTF

UPDATE: Well, my excitement about Parkflyers.com has quickly subsided. It's been 3 weeks since I told you about my bad RX and how Parkflyers told me they'd send me a new one. 3 weeks gone by and...

RE: TX COMPATABILITY ??

I also have the Parkflyers Cessna 182 and I'm having the same problem as described above. The electronics are very twitchy, and I'm wondering if it's possible to buy a better quality receiver and...

RE: ParkFlyers.com Cessna 182 RTF

Well, I got a Cessna 182 off of Ebay from Parkflyers and am now officially addicted to this hobby. This is my first RC plane ever, and my first flight was pretty scary. I only lasted about a minute...

RE: Where do you fly your parkflyer?

I can't imagine flying on someone's private property without asking first. The area I'm looking at to fly is a public soccer field. Not sure who to ask about that one. If no one is using it,...

RE: ParkFlyers.com Cessna 182 RTF

Hi Joel, (you can never have too many Joels):D

Thanks for the input. The reason I thought this plane was for beginners was because of this quote from the Parkflyers web site about the Cessna:

RE: ParkFlyers.com Cessna 182 RTF

Whoa - hold on now. There's two people who have chimed in and said that this is not a plane for beginners. Everything I've read about this plane says that it's easy to fly and is for beginners and...

RE: ParkFlyers.com Cessna 182 RTF

For those of you who own this plane - do you consider the 4 channel radio and servos that it comes with good enough quality to put into other aircraft later on? I'm thinking of getting this plane...
