RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

I agree with you on the Heli engines.. That's also why I'm running a 4 stroke instead of a 2 stroke. The header is the only thing that gets hot on my 4 stroke. Plus I get better gas milage and longer...

I have to add about the same amount of weight to the front of my plane to balance out. My Magnum 50 is a little under 1lb. The tail section and booms put another pound of weight into the back. With...

RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

Setting up the Co-Pilot for the first time is pretty involved. I spent quite a few test flights setting mine up just right. Once you have it setup you can interchange it without a problem. There was...

RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

Eh don't feel bad. I have a vehicle that's almost 70% done... I just NOW got around to bending the other landing gear. I still have some monokote work and another half of my tail to build. Then there...

RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

For the first flight you may want the tank slightly in front of the CG line. When you blast off the fuel is going to move back toward the end of the plane. This may change your CG a bit as you...

RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

Hmm, I was running 1/2" plywood dowels back to my tail. It caused some flutter when I I started my first turn into a down wind run. I switched to carbon fiber rods after that. Are you going with a...

RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

I had one of the Little Birdz Predators. After that I just started designing my own. The A-Tail and Hershey bar wing gives my plane that drone look. As I move forward with designs I'll be moving away...

RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

I was seeing how they would fit into the wing when I took that picture. I've wanted to have retracts for the 'Predator' look on my plane. After tinkering around with the idea for a few hours I...

RE: Pusher AP plane build thread

That specific carbon tube was a building aid. After the holders were installed I replaced it with a proper sized carbon tube.
