RE: Propeller Safety Reminder

Here is some damage done by an electric powered RC plane. The owner had picked the plane up and started walking back when he accidentally hit the throttle stick. I didn't see it, but I heard it. ...

RE: 1/8 CUSTOM Brushless conversion mounts !!

I have one motor mount bracket and one ESC/Fan bracket coming soon from scyan. When I first saw the Solid Work drawings on a forum, I knew I had to have one for my Hyper 7 conversion. I like the...

RE: Anyone have an 1\8 Electric Buggy Conversion?

Once I decide on a platform, I might just see if you can make a bracket.

For the price, I guess I can't expect too much. I have been searching ebay for "rollers". Since I will be spending...

RE: Anyone have an 1\8 Electric Buggy Conversion?

What are people using for motor mounts? I know the person that made the Cold Fusion motor mounts is no longer doing so. I have heard varying opinions about using a E-maxx motor plate since it is...

RE: Brushless Rustlers

I got it at StarluckRC.com
The Rustler on Six Cells doesn't quite wheelie. The front end gets awfully light . Right now we have the Mtroniks ESC set on acceleration level 2 of 4 (second...

RE: Brushless Rustlers

Thanks for the comments. For an inexpensive brushless system ($158 + $5 shipping), it is great.
Yes, that track is in my front yard. It is a work in progress. It is my second layout. Now I...

Brushless Rustlers

Here is a video of two brushless Rustler's (both running Feigao 380c 9T motors with Mtroniks Sport ESC). The first one is mine on 2S Li-Po. The second is running on 6 cell Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd packs.

RE: Official Rustler Thread

You need the RPM Ruslter front and rear carriers, but the bearings you listed at Tower only have six of the 5x11mm bearings. You will need eight of them if you do the front and rear of the truck.

RE: Official Rustler Thread

Yes, it would be best to put it on the red ESC wire. You are still monitoring the battery voltage, just after the battery connector. I use a DMA Li-Po saver on an airplane.

RE: Official Rustler Thread

To help hold up against that added speed, don't forget a RPM wide bumper. It really absorbs boo boos.

RE: Official Rustler Thread

Thanks. The tires are the Pro-line dirt hawgs and the wheels are HPI MT Mesh Wheels (Rear). I used larger front A-arms so I was no longer stuck into buying wheels made just for the Rustler. The...

RE: Official Rustler Thread

I have been looking at brushless motors for my new E-Rustler. I have decided to wait until mid-June to see if Castle Creations comes out with their Mamba Max system. It has been "coming soon" for ...

RE: Sunday Bash IV (BL Rustler,Revo,N. Rustler, and Savage X) Team BIGAIR

I have watched the section in the video where the BL Rusty is racing the T-max (Revo?) and it pulls a wheelie at about 30MPH over and over.
Now my Rustler has a roll model.

RE: RC Expo in SoCal

9AM is probably a little too early. I am saying not to roll in there around 11AM if you can help it. Parking might be gone or very far away. Last year we got there about 9:45AM. There was a big...

You know I can't. I never developed the adult beer taste..... or the coffee taste. I hear the Nitro gives you a better buz, but causes blindness :D

I suggest getting there early. The traffic...

RE: RC Expo in SoCal

I am headed up from Escondido. We make the day of it...... a big breakfast at Denny's and then non-stop RC fun the rest of the day.
I kind of feel like a kid the night before going to...

RE: Official Rustler Thread

Sounds like fun with the upgrades. I am about to buy a new rustler for very similar mods.... and a brushless setup. My first one has been great. The screws on the bottom side are partially gone...

RE: Sunday Bash IV (BL Rustler,Revo,N. Rustler, and Savage X) Team BIGAIR

Great Videos.
I see you have the older SS5800 and newer GTB5.5. I am considering a GTB6.5 since it is a higher turn less flat out speed motor and I do almost all my bashing in the dirt. Of...

RE: Who makes a Cub or Clipped Cub ARF 50"-60" span

I flew my World Models 63" clipped wing cub today for the first time. I bought it used and fully assembled. She doesn't have flaps, but since it uses a servo for each aileron you could program your...

RE: Everyone invited?

Can you believe those kids were using the soccer field to play soccer?! I guess I will have to check out the "flying field" out after soccer season is over.

RE: what brand of glider is this, won in raffle

I finally got a chance to get her in the air. Besides putting a 50MHz receiver in it, I had to replace a gear in the spoiler servo. The wind was very light on the Poway ridge (San Diego) so I flew...
