RE: Ordered new Tamiya Tiger I

Be good if you could get them that cheap over here, try $900 for a full option kit, $1200 + for a leopard, lucky you. You will pay $400-$500 for a second hand one here.

Take a look at retail...

RE: HL selling help

That might work! :D

I do have some sympathy for any Tamya dealers on Ebay who may feel threatened, if a guy is bulk selling lots of HL or anything alse and using the Tamiya name to gather...

RE: HL selling help

It was me that had the problems with the listing that you were referring to. Basically its about not allowing the use 'like tamiya' in the TITLE only. Some Tam snobs as you put it took objection...

RE: Tiger Painting Question

Good question, and difficult to answer with any real sureness. The thing is with tanks, there is much generalisation, someone learns that 'most' tanks were a certain way, therefore tells the rest of...

RE: Why are Tamiya tank so expensive?

I flew to Germany last week, to measure up for a mechanical installation job, it took me 2 days. I will now spend a few days creating the drawings, and a further day writing the proposal. Not far...

RE: TankZone.co.uk

Must agree, I am somewhat surprised they sell any HL detailing bits at those prices. I second the ebay guys, they are good, I did have a rather unhelpfull email from one of them once when something...

RE: Why are Tamiya tank so expensive?

Im yet to read a argument here that supports the Tamiya price tag, and I am as open minded as the rest. I dont think its an argument between HL and Tam anyway, these are two diffeent products. So...

RE: Why are Tamiya tank so expensive?

Just wanted to second the comment that I agree hugely with the Tamiya quality over the HL and econimic differences at production, BUT, for me it isnt a £550.00 difference ( $1100 US including radio...

RE: why were american tanks of ww2 so undesirable looking?

I mean this respectfully, but, all that about US troop training culture and the freedom to make decisions being good, isnt really a good thing. I lost collegues in Blue on blue incidients, all...

Superb work there, do you realsie just how many Tiger II's were never photographed? then your tank is one of those, therefore, historically accurate.
