RE: Insane mono Redline engine NFS steel pipe

Thanks for the reply Glenn, that's why I started this thread here about the trim tab thing, I know these tabs would create lots of drags but I would also like to see my new build run more stable and...

RE: Insane mono Redline engine NFS steel pipe

My old mono had no trim tabs install but it went a bit up and down and rock on between flat and choppy water, I don't have much experience to build a mono, had a few mono guys told me to use the trim...

RE: ansmann power boat

Your boat looks nice for a beginner, just stick with what you have until you feel that you need a faster boat.

RE: Insane mono Redline engine NFS steel pipe

Brod, I did run the same prop in my "Titanic" mono(it already sank in the pond..lol) and got 65.7mph, I don't know if it was a good speed for a mono hull or not, I know this prop is flighty so needed...

RE: My 48in Jordo Cat

I'm running a single stock pickup on my low 80s mph rigger, more water to cool the engine doesn't mean more speed for me. Your bigger water pickups will work fine Henry.

RE: Stock zen rpm and pipe lengths?

The pipe length for me is 11-1/2" for mod motors, it's the best length for the RPM, yours will work fine if you run the boat for fun. This is a stoker RPM info from Hanson, it says [email protected]

RE: My 48in Jordo Cat

My Sprint cat was running in the hot summer, the high temperature could hit up to 120 F but the cat's stock two water pick ups were still picking up enough water to cool down the engine.

RE: What Servos ?

I ran all stander digital servos on my boats and had no problems for steering, 1/4 servo is a bit over torque for his rudder but it is not a bad thing for his boat, I used to have a 39" rigger that...

RE: What Servos ?

The Team Pro weighs 18 pounds with the dual rudder for steering, no matter what you need a high torque servo for it, can't wait to see her run and have fun.

RE: My 48in Jordo Cat

Yep, he can kick the rudder blade back a bit to create more lift but unless he does not want the cat tracking straight anymore.

RE: My 48in Jordo Cat

Yep, a good bend tube should allow the shaft with the prop to spin more freely and less friction when you spin the prop by your hand. Snowing here for two day already, can't go to the pond for some...

RE: Radio question

It was just in my case, that's why I said that used 603FF receiver maybe had the problem due to the shorter control range, it went about 200 feet away from me then the failsafe was automatically...
