RE: Help???

I had the same problem . . . wore out a number of catalogues trying to find what I thought had the qualities to handle the gear. My final decision was a Hobbico NextStar EP, but they don't sell the...

Best plane for FPV

A question for fellow fpv fans.

I elected to us a NEXSTAR 46 for my first FPV venture. It has been very disappointing in that the camera was quite difficult to mount (had to cut out part of the...

RE: High School Senior Project

I agree with INVERTMAST and RJBOB . . . all the "complicated" work is done for you. The price is reasonable, the build is easy, and I can guarantee success if you follow the instrs.

RE: Planing my first Jet (PST Reaction)

I'm flying a Reaction 54 powered by a Wren 54 Mk3 (14# - 15# thrust). Sans fuel, the plane weighs 23 lbs.

Most pilots would consider this severely underpowered, but it flys fine off asphalt -...

RE: Turbine size or lbs of thrust needed?

I fly a Reaction 54 ARF (23#) using a Wren 54 Mark III (14# thrust). Like you, I also fly from a paved runway. This combination works out very well for relaxed flying. About 300 ft. for takeoff...

Good News for BTE Reaction 54 Owners!!!

The retract gear that PST initially designed for the Reaction 54 ARF had a severe problem with "dragging" brakes. There was no way to eliminate this problem with the brakes as furnished. The gear...

RE: Use fuel solenoid or not?

Since the solenoid is normally closed and only opens when commanded by the ECU. This provides a "built-in" safety to prevent fuel from getting to the engine and causing a hot start should you forget...

I find that my G-5 comes very close to flying the real thing on most of the planes. But NO sim can reproduce the visibility and "feel" of the plane like flying the real thing.

The real value of...
