RE: Quite possibly the biggest rip off good ever!

I was marooned on the Isle of Target once. It was horrible. They natives were tackily dressed and I was surrounded by junk. After waht seemed like forever I was able to escape to the parking lot,...

I quit cold turkey after smoking for close to 50 years. No matter what drugs you take or what method you use you must want to quit deep down inside yourself. If you need help go ahead and take the...

RE: Super Tigre Engines

jaka,
You've obviously never owned an MDS. :)

As far as ST's are concerned, they are a superb engine if you take the time to break them in and tune them properly. Something no one seems to...

RE: t Greetings from the Sea

22 years in the US Navy. We used to call the Coast Guard "shallow water sailors". You know, when the word to abandon ship is passed they all jump over the side and wade ashore. ;)

RE: Pictures of the 95AX on the STIK

The airplane is grossly overpowered. It is flying on the prop and not the wing as aircraft are designed to do. Bet is has definate unlimited vertical, though.

Hangar 9 33% SU-31 with a Zenoah GT85.

RE: Center of gravity

Just finished building one. It too was extremely nose heavy. I moved the Tower Hobbies 75 back 1" and moved both the elevator and rudder servos back to just in front of the tail feathers. The plane...

RE: RE:

Used the rod from HF on both Bisson and Slimline mufflers, works great. However, the surface to be welded must be squeaky clean.

Congratulations!! Now, don't let all that success go to your head and get crazy with the plane. Take your time and gradually attempt more and more radical maneuvers as you confidence builds. Stay...

Take it easy here. gaRCfield only mentioned the tuning of his YS engine because of what the learned on the air bleed carb. The real point is his tuning tip that applies to all 2-stroke engines.

RE: CG balance confusion

I've had both the Showtime 50 and 90. They both balance fine at the manufacturers recommended point. It is important to balance it at the wing root because the tapered wings make it more difficult to...

Get with the officers of the club, work out some rules, post the rules and everyone abide by them.
If you've got the bench, it should be yours to use. If...
