i will ad that i feel the wheel pants suck. it felt like i easily striped 1 of the 2 screws on each side, and turns out.. i did. they vibrated out upon engine testing.

personally, i feel that chopping the front of at the firewall will make mounting a larger engine easier, and will look nicer in the end. you're gonna have to mod it anyway for muffler and needle...

man this is tough. i must have gotten lucky on the first couple of tries, but then i forgot to add the tail wheel, and i'm starting over. very difficult to align indeed. [:@]

does rotating the engine mount affect the center point of thrust or change anything too much?

i ask because i'd like to rotate to direct the exhaust under the plane.

for the record.. im not going to build with the 55. i know it will leave the ground.. but i feel ill spend the whole time at WOT.. with no reserve.

i think a powerful 4-stroke would be the best...

i have a 55ax and id like to use it in one of these planes.

would it be better in the .40 or .60 ?
