I don’t know if this helps I myself been using hpi d-compound for longer runs on the weekend. I usually get two weekends of running hard , but their a little $$ but worth the money.

I got a tamiya tt02 chassis I ran in to the same issue it may need a .06 mod 48 pitch pinion because I thought I could use any 48 pitch pinion it's a difference .
